Counties Manukau DHB seeks full investigation by SFO

The Counties Manukau DHB is asking the Serious Fraud Office to
investigate possible fraud or other serious wrongdoing by former staff.



In a statement issued shortly before noon, the DHB said it was historical but of concern.



It follows issues raised recently in a long-awaited report from an Auckland accounting firm, Beattie Varley.



The board chair, Vui Mark Gosche, said it's now decided to seek a full investigation by the Serious Fraud Office.
