Leon Balogun, a Queen Parks Rangers defender, will miss the rest of the season due to injury.

Balogun has been plagued by injuries since joining the London club on a free transfer last summer.

The Nigeria international recently returned to action for QPR after missing four months due to injury.

QPR manager, Gareth Ainsworth revealed that the centre-back has sustained another injury which will keep him out for the remainder of the season.

“Only Ossie Kakay and Leon Balogun will be out for the rest of the season and I am gutted for them as they are both brilliant professionals”, Ainsworth told a press conference.

The defender has made 12 appearances for QPR this season with one goal to his name.
