EPL: Fabrizio Romano names two players who are expected to join Chelsea.

Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea's transfer guru, has revealed the two players who will join the club during the summer transfer window.

According to Romano, Chelsea are interested in signing Manu Kone from Borussia Monchengladbach and Romeo Lavia from Southampton during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Chelsea is having one of their worst Premier League seasons.

The Blues are currently ranked 11th in the 2022-2023 Premier League standings.

The west London club are expected to dip into the transfer market to bolster their squad, particularly their midfield, as Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic are all likely to secure an exit this summer.

In his column for Caught Offside, Romano said: “I already mentioned some of the names they like in the last two months, including Romeo Lavia and Manu Kone.

“But the decision will be made with the new Chelsea coach, likely to be [Mauricio] Pochettino before the start of new season. It is not a two players’ race between these two; it is something that is absolutely open.”
