Haruna Musa, a kidnapper, lamented that he squandered two million naira from kidnapping.
The 28-year-old from Farang in Adamawa State's Fufore Local Government Area told reporters in Yola on Thursday that he squandered all of his money without purchasing anything of value.
Musa was one of nine suspects apprehended and paraded through Yola's Adamawa State Police Headquarters.

“I participated in one operation where my other colleagues and I abducted one Shuaibu of Malabu, but I didn’t kill anyone,” he said.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, explained during the parade of the suspects that they were arrested by operatives of the command attached to Crack Squad.
“They were apprehended by the police in collaboration with local hunters from Gombi LGA,” Nguroje stated.
He added that Commissioner of Police Afolabi Adeniyi had ordered further investigation of the suspects before arraigning them in court.
