Belgium: Orban and Boniface both miss out on Ebony Boot.

Gift Orban and Victor Boniface of Nigeria were beaten to the Ebony Boot for the best African player in Belgium.

Mike Tresor, a Genk winger who scored eight goals and had 23 assists, won the award.

Union Saint Gilloise forwards Victor Boniface finished second, while Orban finished third.

Aside from their impressive performance in the Belgian Pro League, the duo also excelled in the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Paul Onuachu was the last Nigerian to win the award.

Daniel Amokachi, Victor Ikpeba and Godwin Okpara are the other Nigerians who won the award in the past.
