EPL: Arteta confirms that two Arsenal players will miss the rest of the season.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has confirmed that Gabriel Martinelli and Oleksandr Zinchenko will not play again this season.

Arteta made the announcement during his press conference on Friday, ahead of tomorrow's trip to Nottingham Forest.

Martinelli sprained his ankle last weekend after being tackled by Brighton's Moises Caicedo.

Zinchenko was not even named to Arteta's matchday squad for the game at Emirates Stadium.

Both players will now miss the last two fixtures against Forest and Wolves.

“They are both out for the rest of the season. Gabi is a pretty nasty injury, we need to assess next week how long, but he will be out for at least weeks.

“With Alex, he has a calf issue and he won’t be able to play the next few games,” Arteta said.
