EPL: He's fantastic - Hargreaves names a player who will not accompany Southampton to relegation.

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes a top-six club will sign Carlos Alcaraz this summer from relegated Southampton.

The Saints were relegated from the Premier League after a 2-0 loss at home to Fulham on Saturday.

Alcaraz has been outstanding since joining the South Coast club in January for a fee of £12.3 million from Argentine club Racing Club.

He has been the club’s standout performer, scoring four goals in 18 appearances.

“You know what, he’s fabulous,” Hargreaves told Premier League Productions.

“He’ll probably go to a top-six side, Carlos Alcaraz. He is fantastic.”
