Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with Manchester United
at Old Trafford on Thursday, Lampard said, “With Enzo, I have been
really impressed with him as a player, his attitude to training, his
attitude to games and his determination.
“There is something about him. He doesn’t speak the language much at all, but he’s learning fast. I have got a lot of faith that Enzo will be a big part of what happens in the future of this club.”
Fernandez became the most expensive footballer in Premier League history when he joined Chelsea from Benfica in a £106million deal in January.
