EPL: Pochettino has been named Chelsea's new manager.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea have agreed to hire Mauricio Pochettino as their permanent manager.

After being fired by the Blues' London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in November 2019, the 51-year-old returns to the Premier League.

Pochettino will succeed interim manager Frank Lampard at the end of the season.

He will be the permanent replacement for Graham Potter, who was fired in April after only seven months in charge.

Despite spending £600m in the last two transfer windows, Chelsea are 11th on the table and will end the season without a trophy.

They will also not play in European competition next season.

Pochettino has been out of work since being sacked by Paris Saint-Germain last summer. He led them to the Ligue 1 title in 2022 and the French Cup the year before.
