Former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez praised Diogo Jota, describing the Portuguese midfielder as a "very clever player" after his late goal sealed the Reds' 4-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Liverpool defeated Tottenham to move up to fifth place in the Premier League table, seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
As the race for the top four heats up, the Red Devils defeated Aston Villa 1-0 at Old Trafford, while third-placed Newcastle United defeated Southampton.

Liverpool raced into a 3-0 lead within the first 15 minutes but Tottenham fought back to level the game 3-3, before Jota stole the spotlight.
And Benitez, who managed Liverpool for many seasons, could not contain his admiration for Jota’s performance.
He told Premier League Productions. “You have to say, Diogo Jota is very clever. He is very good at playing through the lines, then his finishing was really, really good. Klopp told him to ‘manage the game and to control the game’.”
