According to ChinyKo, Timz revealed in a recent interview with British-Nigerian media personality Shopsydoo that "assassins" ambushed a car carrying his family in the Mushin area of Lagos, and a bullet hit his eye after his father dodged it.

He wrote, “Scars are signs of survival, miracle written on the skin!! i show my scars so others know they can heal…”
