Ibadan is under heavy security as Makinde takes his oath of office for a second term [PHOTOS].

ChinyKo reports that security personnel have been stationed in strategic areas of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Sango, Roundabout, Mokola, and Dugbe are among the neighbourhoods.

 

Other areas are; Oke Ado, Liberty Road and other areas.

This is due to the second term oath of office, state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, and his deputy, Barrister Abdulrahman Adebayo Lawal, taking place today.

The event is currently taking place at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium located in Oke-Ado area of Ibadan.

The governor and his deputy had arrived at the inauguration venue as of the time of filing this report on Monday.
