Professor Gregory Ibe has been appointed to the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Presidential Advisory Council.
In a letter dated May 20 and signed by Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Ibe, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the March 18 governorship election in Abia State, was appointed into the advisory body of the apex Igbo organisation.

According to the appointment letter, Ibe who is the founder of Gregory University, Uturu, was appointed based on his selfless service to the Igbo nation.
The inauguration of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Advisory Council will hold on June 9, 2023, in Enugu.
