LaLiga: Busquets informs Barcelona of the players who can take his place.

Sergio Busquets, the departing Barcelona captain, has suggested players who could take his place at the club.

Busquets has already stated that he will be leaving the LaLiga giants this summer.

The Spain midfielder will leave Barcelona as a free agent after an 18-year career with the Blaugrana.

However, Busquets has advised the club to consider Manchester City’s Rodri, Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich or Martin Zubimendi who plays for Real Sociedad, to step into his shoes.

“My favourite option would be Rodri as the new pivot for Barça, but I’m told it’s very difficult,” Busquets told RAC1.

“Kimmich or Zubimendi? I feel Zubi suits our style better, then there’s an internal option with Nico.”
