LaLiga: 'There will be war,' says Barcelona star after racist attack on Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior.

Raphinha, a Barcelona winger, has expressed his support for Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior after the 22-year-old was the target of vile racist attacks from Valencia fans.

Vinicius was subjected to racial abuse during Real Madrid's 1-0 loss to Valencia at the Mestalla over the weekend.

In that game, the Brazilian attacker was also sent off, a decision that has since been reversed.

The treatment that Vinicius received in that match has taken the football world by storm, with Raphinha now the latest football star to show his compatriot support.

After being substituted during Barcelona’s La Liga 3-1 away defeat against Valladolid on Tuesday, Raphinha removed his shirt to reveal a message that read (transcriber via GOAL):

“As long as the colour of the skin is more important than the glow of the eyes, there will be war.”
