LaLiga: Xavi informs Messi's replacement that he must leave Barcelona.

Barcelona manager Xavi wants Ansu Fati, a Spanish winger, to leave the club as soon as possible.

The Spanish manager stated that the winger has no future at the Catalan giants, and the former midfielder stated that he will inform several key players about his plans for their future once Barcelona wins the league.

Fati was a direct replacement for Argentina international Lionel Messi, who left the Catalans in the summer of 2021.

But the youngster has failed to meet the expectations of many, with the heavy responsibility dropped on his shoulders and Javier Miguel of AS reports now that Xavi has given the green signal for Fati’s sale.

The 20-year-old is likely to reluctantly leave the club in the upcoming summer transfer window as Xavi is aware the club needs to raise funds this summer and is ready to make a few sacrifices.

Fati’s father had lambasted the club and Xavi especially for the way they have handled his son, and pleaded with the young player to leave the club and find playing time somewhere else.

However, the 20-year-old does not want to leave Barcelona.

Apart from Fati, several players like Raphinha, Jordi Alba, and even Robert Lewandowski face uncertain futures at the club.
