LaLiga: Xavi wants Barcelona's star player to leave the club.

Barcelona manager Xavi reportedly does not want defender Samuel Umtiti to return to the squad and wishes to sell him this summer.

Xavi has decided not to let Umtiti play another match for the Catalan club, according to El Nacional.

Umtiti is on loan at Lecce this season and has rediscovered his form.

Barcelona do have offers on the table for Umtiti and the La Liga leaders are ready to sell.

The likes of West Ham United, Inter Milan, Everton and Fiorentina are reportedly interested in the French star.

Barcelona will be delighted with the interest as Umtiti’s contract has another three seasons left.

The Blaugrana also need to raise money to get in line with the La Liga wage limit to sign new players this summer.
