Obioma and Ogunmodede are named NPFL Player and Coach of the Month, respectively.

Chukwuemeka Obioma of Enyimba won the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month award for March/April.

Obioma scored four goals in the month, including back-to-back goals at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba against Nasarawa United and Bendel Insurance.

With 14 goals, the striker is currently the top scorer in the NPFL.

He beat Izuchukwu Chimezie, Robert Mizo, Cyril Olisema, Alex Oyowah and Stephen to the award.

He also won the player of the month award for February.

Remo Stars Head Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede won the Coach of the Month prize.

It’s the first time the former Crown FC coach will be winning the award this season.

Remo Stars are yet to taste defeat in the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

He led the Sky Blues team to a 2-1 away defeat in Jos against Plateau United last week.

Remo Stars are in the race to qualify for the NPFL Super Six playoffs.
