Ogunmodede dedicates NPFL award to players and coaches

Daniel Ogunmodede, manager of Remo Stars, has stated that winning the Coach of the Month award is a team effort.

The Sky Blues coach was named Nigeria Premier Football League coach of the month for March/April.

Remo Stars have yet to taste defeat in the league's second stanza, as he led his team to a historic 2-1 win over Plateau United last week at the New Jos Stadium.

Ogunmodede expressed gratitude to his backroom staff alongside his players for working towards achieving success together.

“This wouldn’t have been possible without my assistants and my backroom staff, players, my family and everyone at the club working towards us achieving success, I say thank you,” he stated.

“Very proud to have been named the NPFL Manager of the month for March/April.”

Ogunmodede beat Monday Odigie, Finidi George and Akinade Onigbinde to the award.
