President Buhari makes his final appointment before leaving office.

President Muhammadu Buhari appears to have made his final appointment as he prepares to leave office today, Monday.

Sha'aban Sharada was named the first Executive Secretary of the National Commision for Almajiri and Out of School Children in a statement signed by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.

Recall that the President recently assented to the National Commission for Almajiri and Out of School Children Education Bill 2023.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of the outgoing Member of the House of Representatives for Kano Municipal, Honourable (Dr) Sha’aban Sharada as Executive Secretary,” the statement said.

The former lawmaker obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from Bayero University, Kano and a Master of Business Administration from University of Chichester, United Kingdom.
