Franklyn Chioma-Blessing, a 12-year-old girl, was reported missing in Port Harcourt earlier this week.
Chioma-Blessing was rescued from a forest in Rivers State's Igbo-Kingdom, Etche Local Government Area.
She was said to have left her house for school on Thursday but never arrived.

ChinyKo gathered that earlier on Saturday; operatives of the Nigeria Police stormed a forest in Igbo-Etche where the victim was rescued.
It is unclear if Chioma-Blessing was kidnapped for ransom or for other reasons.
The state Police Command has promised to brief journalists on the development.
Igbo-Etche has been touted to be a destination of kidnappers in the state, as several persons kidnapped have been rescued from there.
