Singer Peter Okoye has urged the Nigeria Police Force to temper justice with mercy in the aftermath of his colleague Seun Kuti's altercation with a police officer on the Third Mainland Bridge.
Seun was seen pushing and slapping a police officer in a video that went viral on Saturday, May 13. Many police officers have condemned his actions. Last night, the Inspector General of Police ordered his arrest.
Peter in his tweets acknowledged that Seun erred in his action and appealed that justice should be tempered with mercy.
