Tuchel discusses his dismissal as Bayern Munich manager after winning the Bundesliga title.

Despite the club's decision to fire CEO Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has stated that he intends to stay in the position.

The dismissal of Kahn and Salihamidzic was announced by the German club just minutes after the team won the Bundesliga title on the final day of the season, thanks to a 2-1 win over Koln, ahead of Borussia Dortmund, which drew 2-2 with Mainz.

It was the two men who convinced Tuchel to replace Julian Nagelsmann in March.

But Tuchel does not expect to be dismissed along with them, as he bemoaned the departure of the duo.

“I’ve known since yesterday [that they would be sacked],” Tuchel told Sky.

When asked if he would remain in charge of Bayern, he replied, “I’m assuming so now.”
