UCL: Michael Owen assesses Manchester City's chances of winning the treble this season.

Former Real Madrid striker Michael Owen has assessed Manchester City's chances of winning the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup this season under manager Pep Guardiola.

Man City qualified for the Champions League final on Wednesday after defeating Real Madrid 4-0 in the semi-final second leg at the Etihad Stadium.

Man City defeated Real Madrid thanks to a brace from Bernardo Silva, an own goal from Eder Militao, and a strike from Julian Alvarez.

Owen believes Man City can win the treble this season after beating Real Madrid.

“They [Man City] absolutely ripped Real Madrid apart. That first half performance was as good as I can remember,” Owen told BT Sport.

“I mean, they killed them straight away, broke their hearts and the game was already over at halftime. Very professional in the second half and the damage was already done. Sensational, they have been for the last couple of months and everybody is fit in their squad.

“Everybody has been playing at their top level, they have got a manager who is an absolute genius and this team, I cannot see them doing anything other than winning all three trophies.”
