Daniel Aiyenugba, goalkeeper for Remo Stars Team B, has revealed that it took his father some time to believe in his ability.
Daniel, the 14-year-old son of former Super Eagles goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba, helped Remo Stars feeder team Beyond Limit secure promotion from the Nationwide League to the Nigeria National League.
He claimed that his father had to be persuaded to watch his footage before agreeing to let him play football.

“It took my dad time before he could believe I have the ability to become a good goalkeeper,” he stated.
“My dad had to be persuaded when he was in Isreal to watch my footage.
Beyond Limit, Osun United, Tradesafe, Coal City, Dynamite Force, Rahbam FC, Jedo FC, and Maikunkele FC have all secured promotion to the NNL.
