Sergio Ramos reacts to Benzema's departure from Real Madrid for a new club.

Sergio Ramos, a Real Madrid legend, has sent his best wishes to Karim Benzema, who left the club after 14 years over the weekend.

Benzema's last match for Real Madrid was against Athletic Club at the Santiago Bernabeu over the weekend.

The Frenchman scored the only goal for Real Madrid, a penalty that equalised Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Reacting, Ramos took to his Instagram story to send a message to Benzema on his departure from Los Blancos.
“Karino, I wish you the best in your new stage. Much quality, Nueve. Hugs, brother,” Ramos wrote.

Benzema, meanwhile, is expected to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad in the coming days.
