The EFCC is questioning Women Affairs Minister Pauline Tallen about an alleged N2 billion fraud.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commision, EFCC, has questioned Pauline Tallen, the immediate past Minister of Women Affairs, over alleged N2 billion money laundering allegations.

The former minister reportedly arrived at the Commission's Abuja Zonal Command at 12 p.m. on Friday and was questioned by investigators until 8 p.m.

A portion of the funds are said to have been diverted from the African First Ladies Peace Mission Project.

Details of the allegations were sketchy as the Commission’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached as of the time of filing this report.

This is coming hours after the EFCC interrogated the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi.
