Transfer: Osimhen - Hoeneß cannot be afforded by Bayern Munich.

Uli Hoeneß, former president of Bayern Munich, has declared that the club cannot pay Victor Osimhen.

The Bavarians are allegedly interested in poaching Osimhen from Serie A winners Napoli this summer.

Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are the other three.

To trade their talismanic forwards, Napoli is believed to seek roughly €150 million.

Hoeneß reckoned Osimhen is a quality striker but said the Bundesliga champions don’t have the financial muscle to do the deal.

“Kolo Muani? He’s a very good player. I also think Victor Osimhen is good – but in my opinion he is completely unaffordable”, he told sueddeutsche.de.

Osimhen has scored 25 goals in 32 league appearances for Napoli this season.

The 24-year-old also scored five more goals in the UEFA Champions League.
