Moises Caicedo of Brighton has reportedly 'agreed on personal terms' with Premier League club Arsenal, but Chelsea is still attempting to hijack the deal.
Caicedo wants to leave Brighton during the summer transfer window.
In the January transfer window, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta sanctioned a club-record bid of more than £70 million for Caicedo.
The deal, however, fell through because Brighton refused to sell the 21-year-old.
Arsenal still want to sign Caicedo ahead of the 2023-2024 season and as reported by Metro UK, the Gunners have now ‘agreed personal terms’ with the Ecuador international.
The North London club still need to negotiate a fee with Brighton, who are hoping to receive at least £80million for Caicedo.
