A Consortium of Non -Governmental Organizations says the Constitution Amendment Bill number 10 of 2019, once enacted into law will help address many critical issues and improve the welfare of the Zambian people.
Zambian DNA Spokesperson, SPUKI MULEMWA says it is now clear that those opposed to Bill 10 are NOT only unpatriotic, but have also exposed their selfish interests, and do not mean well for the country.
Mr MULEMWA says the Bill will also empower the youth, women and persons living with disabilities via proportional representation in Parliament.
He has told ZNBC News that currently, the said groups do not have representation in Parliament, a situation which has robbed them of a voice in the law-making body…
