The Cleaning Association of Zambia -CAZ- has urged the cleaning companies in Zambia to take advantage of the 10 Billion Kwacha stimulus put in place by the Government to cushion the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on businesses.
CAZ President LAWRENCE MAKUMBI has thanked the government for releasing the money and urged women and youths, who dominate ownership of cleaning companies in Zambia, to quickly access the funds.
Mr. MAKUMBI has told ZNBC News in a statement that banks and financial institutions accessing the funds must NOT exploit Cleaning companies by charging exorbitant interest rates.
He said the fundS must be accessed at low-interest rates so that everyone can be competitive on the market against foreign companies.
Mr MAKUMBI called on members to ensure they access the funds to remain afloat during this COVID -19 period.
